GERMANY
As a German company with our own domestic production facilities, we have spent decades helping to shape Germany's national standardisation policies.
DIN serves as an independent platform for standardisation and harmonisation across Germany. Working in collaboration with industry, academia, government bodies and civil society, it develops and refines standards that are largely aligned with European and international norms. https://www.din.de/de
DKE develops national standards and safety specifications for electrical engineering, electronics, information technology and telecommunications. Again, these requirements are largely aligned with European and global standards. https://www.dke.de/
EUROPE
We work across borders. As a long-established German company with a robust sales network across the European Union, we have spent decades helping to shape European standardisation policy.
CEN and CENELEC – the European bodies charged with the development of European standards – bring together the national standardisation bodies of 34 European countries, including DIN, DKE, AFNOR, DS, UNE, UNI, CEI, NEN, NEC und BSI. Their mission is to develop common specifications and procedures that meet the needs of industry while fulfilling consumer expectations. Standards play a key role in the knowledge-based economy that underpins European industry and society. CEN and CENELEC facilitate innovation and promote the adoption of new technologies. In a globalised world, they seek to adopt content from ISO and IEC standards and tailor it to meet European requirements.

IEC is a non-governmental organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland. It develops and publishes international standards for electrical, electronic and related technologies. IEC brings together some 170 countries and close to 30,000 experts.

The AK GGS is made up of representatives from various sectors of the commercial dishwashing industry. Its main objective is to develop and provide practical information relevant to this field. VdF (German trade association for specialist planners)
As Germany's largest association of professional commercial kitchen planners, VdF helps first-class planners showcase their skills.
