Opting for reusable dishware directly helps our planet. As a sustainable company, it was back in 2008 that MEIKO launched to market its first flight type dishwashing machines for reusable plastic dishware like cups and bowls. M-iQ Cup flight type dishwashing machines are exceptionally quick and economical, and they deliver hygienic and perfectly dry results. The special conveyor protects the plastic dishware, extending its useful lifespan.
The drying system is specially optimised for cups and uses several drying modules, like the vibration drying zone. All are perfectly tailored to work together and deliver up to 15,000 cups/hour, all ready for stacking when they exit the machine.

Cooling the washware in the climate zone prevents the moisture in the air from condensing on the inside of the plastic cups as they cool off. In practically all cases, using the climate zone means the cups are immediately ready for storage. They can be stacked and packed away the moment they exit the washing and drying process. The climate zone can be supplied by a standard split air conditioner.
Key to washing plastic items: this area prepares the washware for the rest of the process in a fresh water pre-wash that is regulated by a thermostat. This enables any bacterial spores (e.g. Bacillus subtilis) to be effectively washed off later in the process.
The vibration drying zone is part of the M-iQ Cup’s unique drying system. The conveyor vibrates, shaking off water droplets on or in the cups in a highly effective process.

The specific design of the finger belt and how it works means that there is practically no contact surface between washware and belt. The rim remains completely free and the cup interior is close to it. That allows the cups to move around freely, producing even better washing and drying results.
MEIKO ACTIVE detergents provide optimum cleaning results, even with difficult-to-handle dirt. And MEIKO ACTIVE rinse aids are specially developed for use with plastic dishware and cutlery to give you exceptional drying results.
Four guided airflows keep the energy within the system and ensure perfect drying results. A moving nozzle brings the airflow as close as possible to the washware for 360 degree drying and optimum energy efficiency. The closed air cycle also prevents the emission of warm, damp air in the unloading area – for even better operator comfort.

The power centre of the M-iQ is the self-emptying stainless steel wash pump. Its optimised flow geometry achieves high pressure with low volumes.

Four air circuits guide airflows within the machine (for total 360 degree drying). This keeps the energy within the system and ensures exceptional drying results. The movable air nozzle, which adapts to different washware heights, guides the airflows optimally to the washware. The closed air cycle improves energy efficiency and prevents the warm, moist air from escaping in the unloading area. This increases operator comfort.

Even after a long day of warewashing, the M-iQ Cup still takes a proactive role – and simply cleans itself with the tank water already in the system. Only the areas marked in blue still need cleaning by hand.

The dirt removal system is constantly at work, moving opposite to the working direction so that the tank on the clean side is always the cleanest. Since the system goes the opposite way to the dishes, the dirt particles are collected and concentrated far away from the hygienic area reserved for clean washware.
We also keep an eye on the water level within the tanks. The M-iQ filter monitors the process and channels the water into the next tank – or into whichever tank currently needs water.
