‘Warewashing supplier, Meiko UK, has re-evaluated the way that support and advice is offered to customers. It has introduced sustainable training support for the full lifecycle of its products in a move designed to change the conversation among operators keen to improve the sustainability of their kit in operational use. Around half the time of its sales force is now committed to providing sustainable training support for the lifetime of a customer’s machine. Available face-to-face or digitally, its programme of training has proved invaluable for chains that want their dishwashing teams to have the knowledge needed to operate their machines sustainably. The advice covers energy-saving working practices, as well as ergonomic use of equipment, which will help protect staff from back injury and RSI while building their expertise in sustainable working.’
